The United Nations humanitarian agency OCHA has described as “
deeply disturbing
” reports that Gaza residents are “
coming into direct contact with floodwaters contaminated by sewage in the streets
”. OCHA said in its latest update that a pumping station in Gaza "
is currently flooded, which risks causing a hygienic crisis near the station
."
