05:49: [Report] In Jerusalem, the Goush Katif museum welcomes more visitors than usual
Gush Katif is a former block of Jewish colonies in Gaza, dismantled in 2005. But while Israel relentlessly shells the enclave and the deaths number in the thousands, certain Israeli settlers, ideological, nostalgic or vengeful, are now considering settle there again. And for the nostalgic, the curious, and all those who do not know this era of Gaza, where settlers lived there, a dedicated museum exists in Jerusalem. On the front wall, an old sign says “Gaza” in Hebrew.
I joke to visitors elsewhere: I tell them that this museum will transform into a real estate agency, which sells properties in Gush Katif.
