The United States, which will be participating in next year's Osaka/Kansai Expo, announced the design of its pavilion on January 31st, and aims to create a place where people can imagine their future by setting up a stage where they can enjoy American cultural events.

On the 31st, Ambassador Emmanuel to Japan, the pavilion's architect, and others announced the design for the American pavilion to be constructed at the Osaka/Kansai Expo venue at the American Ambassador's residence in Minato-ku, Tokyo.

The pavilion has a geometric design inspired by ``Wabi-Sabi,'' with a cube-shaped building placed between two triangular buildings.

In addition to showing American cities and natural scenery on two large screens, there will be a stage in the courtyard where you can enjoy American music.

The pavilion's theme is ``Let's imagine what we can create together'' and aims to be a place where people can envision a future that advances human wisdom.

Architect Trey Trayhan, who worked on the design, said, ``We want to work together to create a place that encourages people from all over the world to come together and find common ground.''

Construction will cost $25 million, or approximately 3.7 billion yen, and construction will begin this spring, according to the U.S. Embassy.
