Toyota Motor Corporation's labor union has announced the demands of this year's spring labor campaign, demanding a lump-sum bonus equivalent to 7.6 months of monthly salary, the highest ever, as well as wage increases by job type and qualification. In the highest case, they will seek a monthly wage increase of 28,440 yen.

On the 29th, Toyota's labor union held a press conference in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, with Executive Chairman Keisuke Kito and others announcing the demands of this year's spring labor union.

According to this, the lump-sum bonus equivalent to 7.6 months of monthly salary is required, which is the highest ever.

Additionally, regarding wages for full-time employees, we have indicated the amount of wage increases requested by ``job type'' and ``qualification,'' and in all cases, we have decided to request an increase over last year's amount.

Among these, the most expensive case, the ``administration and technical'' supervisory position, is asking for a monthly wage increase of 28,440 yen.

The union wants to respond to rising prices while also securing human resources, and Executive Chairman Kito said at a press conference, ``In our wage demands, we took into account the fact that prices are clearly rising and the value of labor is falling. I would like to have discussions with the company to get an answer."

The union plans to formally decide on these demands and submit them to management on February 14th.
