Juan Manuel Serrano has a new destination and is also in the public sector.

The one who was chief of staff of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, before his arrival to the Presidency, has been appointed general director of the State Society for Land Transport Infrastructure (Seitt), the entity that encompasses the highways rescued in 2017.

Serrano arrives after a highly questioned five years at the head of Correos, where he has been replaced by Pedro Saura.

Upon his departure, the unions celebrated his departure and called him "the worst president of the Post Office", after having left behind a large debt.

Seitt is a public company chaired by the Secretary General of Land Transportation, Marta Serrano, which manages the nine toll highways that reverted to the State due to their financial problems.

Specifically, they are: the four Madrid radials (R2, R3, R5 and R4);

the M-12 Airport Axis, which connects the capital with Barajas;

the AP-41 Madrid-Toledo;

the AP-36 Ocaña-La Roda;

and the AP-7 in two sections, Alicante Ring Road and Cartagena-Vera.

Juan Manuel Serrano, born in Madrid in 1974, graduated in Technical Engineering in Computer Science from the Pontifical University of Salamanca and then graduated in Law in 2012 from the National University of Distance Education (UNED), as detailed by
