He noted that Russia is not allowed to any attempts to investigate.

According to him, the Kremlin does not know how true the publications of the Western media are that the CIA in 2022 was informed about Kiev's plans to sabotage the Nord Streams.

"But the fact that the matter is unclean, in my opinion, does not raise any questions," Peskov said.

In March, the Kremlin said that Western countries were taking all possible measures to "wrap up" the topic of undermining Nord Stream and remove it from the agenda, but Russia would not allow them to do so.

American journalist, Pulitzer Prize winner Seymour Hersh previously published an investigation into US involvement in the undermining of Nord Stream.

Hersh's investigation claims that Nord Stream was mined by divers from the United States: they operated under the cover of the BALTOPS 22 exercise, which took place in the Baltic Sea from June 5 to 17, 2022.

After that, a number of American and European media published a series of materials about the alleged non-involvement of the White House in sabotage.
