This Wednesday, after the announcement of the Minister of Transport Clément Beaune, who calls on motorway companies to concede a discount to motorists this summer, Vinci Autoroute was the first to position itself. The first motorway network in France has an improved offer compared to last year and promises a discount of 20%.

As the summer holidays approach, you may be worried about the cost of your motorway trips... Inflation obliges, the cost of tolls remains a real question. This Wednesday, the Minister of Transport, Clément Beaune, calls on motorway companies to concede a rebate to motorists this summer, at least equivalent to the 10% of last year. Faced with this, Vinci was the first company to respond.

Vinci Autoroutes and APRR first to position themselves

A few hours after Clément Beaune's speech, the country's leading motorway network reacted by opportunely drawing an improved offer compared to that of last summer. This is always done with the same modality, that is to say through holiday vouchers for which five million French people have access. "The customer enters a certain amount of holiday vouchers. For example 250 euros, which is the maximum limit. Vinci Autoroutes abounds by 20%, so adds 50 euros to these 250 euros. And then, the customer can use this credit when he wants and where he wants, that is to say on all the motorways of France and at the most convenient time for him", explains Raphaël Ventre, the marketing director of services at Vinci Autoroutes.

Admittedly, the measure is less spectacular than that of the fuel rebate for all. But this device will be valid on all networks from next week. In addition, APRR (Autoroutes Paris-Rhin-Rhône) was quick to react and offers to go up to 25%, still in holiday vouchers, with a Libert-t Vacances subscription. So if the account is credited with 100 euros, the user will have 125 euros to spend.

In addition, Sanef should also align itself. Will this be enough for Clément Beaune? Answer next week, since the stakeholders will meet at the Ministry of Transport.
