The Rugby World Cup is fast approaching. From September 8 to October 28, the best teams on the oval planet will compete in Paris, Marseille, Lyon or Bordeaux. Partner of the competition, the temporary employment group Proman seeks to fill 5,000 positions throughout the France, including 1,550 in Paris. And its recruitment campaign starts right now, on the street.

Driver, waiter, delivery man, cook, host ... For the Rugby World Cup, the interim group Proman is looking for 5,000 candidates to provide services during the competition. And for this, he uses great means: the group launches a "street sourcing" campaign: recruitment in the street. The kick-off was given Friday on the forecourt of the Gare Saint-Lazare in Paris. Under a beautiful sun and with rugby balls and other small gifts to win, passers-by begin to flock to the Proman stand.

A "World Cup" label that seduces

And recruiters are active: "You don't have your CV by chance?"; "If I have a CV!" replies a first interested party. For François, Rose, and Louis, the Rugby World Cup is timely. "I am in a period of reconversion. When I saw the theme of the booth, it caught my eye. In the world of sport, it's something I might like," says François. "The reception, the sales, the logistics... I'm a bit versatile. I'm up for all the jobs I could be offered," adds her friend Rose.

"I saw Proman, Rugby World Cup, I came straight away. If it's in the Rugby World Cup and I can see the matches, I'm happy. Making money and watching matches at the same time... Yes, it's cool!" concludes Louis.

Already 1,000 potential candidates

For Michael Cerniot, key account manager at Proman, it is necessary to think outside the box of recruitment to attract more candidates. "We were the first to go on networks like Twitch, TikTok. And there, we have already received people who in five minutes tell us "here I am going to submit my resume. Remind me, I may be interested.' So it's really about getting as close as possible to people who want to work. Directly in the street," he explains.

And the 5,000 jobs could find takers very quickly. In one day, nearly 1,000 potential candidates visited the stand of the temporary employment group.
