Pingxiang, Guangxi, May 5 (Zhongxin Net) -- On May 29, large trucks loaded with 5 tons of Vietnamese fresh durian lined up one by one through the Puzhai Auxiliary Channel of Guangxi Pingxiang Friendship Pass and entered smoothly through the Puzhai Auxiliary Passage of Guangxi Pingxiang Friendship Pass, which is the highest peak of single-day durian imports in the Puzhai Affiliated Passage of the Friendship Pass this year.

Since 2022, Vietnamese durian has been allowed to enter China, the supply of durian has increased, and the purchase channels have become increasingly diversified. The batch of fresh durian will be unloaded at Pingxiang Logistics Park and distributed to all parts of China. However, due to the short shelf life of fresh durian and high requirements for the timeliness of customs clearance logistics, after receiving the declaration of fresh vegetables and fruits from the enterprise, the border inspection station of Youyi Customs immediately activated the special service guarantee mechanism, and cooperated with the customs and other departments of Youyiguan Customs to open a "cross-border special channel for fruits and vegetables" in a timely manner, and quickly handle the entry-exit border inspection procedures for this batch of fresh durian to ensure zero waiting and zero delay in customs clearance.

"This is our largest single-day durian import this year. With the large number of tropical fruits such as durian, lychee, mango and jackfruit, the amount of imported fruits in the Puzhai subsidiary channel of the friendship pass continues to grow. On May 5, 28 truckloads totaling 16 tons of Vietnamese fresh durian entered the country, and domestic consumers can immediately feast on it. It is reported that as one of the largest fruit trading markets between China and ASEAN in the Puzhai Border Trade Zone of Pingxiang City, as of May 5 this year, the import of ASEAN fruits through the Puzhai subsidiary channel of the Friendship Pass reached 28,62 tons, with a value of 61.33 billion yuan, an increase of about 97% and 256% respectively year-on-year, and more than 415,7 vehicles were inspected and released, an increase of about 37% year-on-year.
