Sijan Baniya said she has been working with Chen Xianchun, the owner of the main trophy product, for more than a decade.

"Recently, various sporting events have been particularly popular, and orders have been scheduled for June. Now, some overseas buyers have to queue up to get goods from us, and it takes about three months to deliver the order. Chen Xianchun said that the World Cup, Hangzhou Asian Games, CBA and other "event fever" have obvious driving effects on non-governmental events and activities in many places, and the consumption of sporting goods has also continued to rise. In the first four months of this year, store merchandise sales increased by more than 6% year-on-year.

Also busy with orders for the "Asian Games economy" are a number of ball manufacturers in Yiwu. Lu Qing, an operator of Yiwu International Trade City, said that with the approach of the Hangzhou Asian Games, related orders began to double, "In the past, Malaysian customers ordered more than 200 pieces each time, but now they will order 20 pieces at a time, and orders for new styles of football with innovative designs have also increased." In contrast, this year's order volume has increased by at least 30% to <>% compared to the past."

According to data from Yiwu Customs under Hangzhou Customs, in the first four months of this year, the city's sporting goods exports reached 21.3 billion yuan, an increase of 8.4% year-on-year.
