"During the May Day period, the price of accommodation hotels generally increased, and public opinion on hotel accommodation was more concentrated, and there were relatively many breaches and contract breaks, such as booking a homestay without leaving a room, and ordering hotels on online platforms asking tourists to 'make up the difference'. Market supervision departments in many places promptly intervened in the investigation and imposed penalties, and there were many media reports and public opinion discussions. The China Consumer Association pointed out.

On April 4, the Zhejiang Provincial Bureau for Market Regulation announced a number of illegal consumer cases seized during the "Holiday Enjoyment • Consumption Escort" operation. Among them, a hotel in Dongyang City was fined 30,1 yuan confiscated by misleading consumers into canceling reservations and selling them at a higher price for false reasons.

It is reported that the Dongyang Market Supervision Bureau inspected a hotel management company based on the report and found that the party falsely claimed that there were no rooms and misled consumers to cancel the reservation of 5 rooms for false reasons. After the consumer canceled the order, during the same time period, the hotel sold the above 5 rooms on the platform at an additional price, until the cumulative illegal turnover of the case was 5219.2 yuan, and the illegal income was 1335.76 yuan.

In addition, in terms of scenic tourism, a total of 3056999 negative information about "scenic tourism" was collected; In terms of catering and shopping, a total of 995978 pieces of relevant negative information were collected, and during the monitoring period, public opinion in the catering and shopping category was mainly related to the behavior of retailers and restaurants that overcharged and did not charge according to the list price.

In terms of transportation, a total of 1082554 pieces of relevant negative information were collected, mainly focusing on three aspects: first, the discussion around "congestion" and "parking difficulty" in different scenarios was more concentrated, and netizens widely complained; Second, the experience of new energy vehicle owners in high-speed congestion scenarios is generally poor, which has become a hot topic of discussion; Third, the temporary increase in the fare of online ride-hailing and taxis has caused many onlookers to question.
