"The express delivery business is linked to production supply and consumer demand, and is a 'barometer' of economic activity and consumption vitality, which is closely related to economic growth." Liu Xiangdong, deputy director of the Economic Research Department of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges, said in an interview with the "Securities Daily" reporter that the rapid growth of express delivery business has a leading supporting role in economic growth, which can fully reflect the activity of economic expansion and indicate that the economic recovery is obvious.

As for the reasons for the growth of express delivery business, the interviewed experts unanimously believe that it is mainly due to the strong demand on the consumer side, the stable supply on the supply side and the continuous improvement of the service guarantee capacity of the express delivery industry.

With the continuous implementation of a series of policies to promote consumption and smooth circulation in the future, China's express delivery business volume may maintain rapid growth. To this end, Liu Xiangdong suggested that all parties in the market still need to optimize and smooth the channels between supply and demand, use new technologies and new markets to connect thousands of cities and industries, and promote the realization of a high-level dynamic balance between supply and demand.
