According to a survey, the amount of money spent on leisure activities during this year's long holidays is more than 1,3 yen per person, about 9000,1 yen more than last year.

The survey was conducted by Meiji Yasuda Life on the Internet late last month targeting people in their 20s to 70s nationwide, and more than 1600,41 people responded.

When asked how they spend their long holidays, 6.14% said they spent time at home,
down 4.13 points from last year.

On the other hand,
"domestic travel" increased by 7.2 points to 5.3%, and "homecoming" and "amusement parks and
theme parks" also increased.

In addition, when asked how much money they spend during the consecutive holidays, the average was 9294,1 yen, about 1,9000 yen more than last year and about 24,7 yen more than adults.

As more people travel and leisure, it is clear that spending will also increase.

However, partly due to the effects of high prices, <>.<>% of respondents answered that they would change their destination to a closer location.

Yuichi Kodama, chief economist at Meiji Yasuda Research Institute, said, "The desire to go out is increasing, but the price of accommodation has risen due to high prices and the increase in foreign tourists, and expenses are increasing."
