Toyota's induction ceremony was held at Toyota's headquarters in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, and was attended by approximately 1440,1 new employees.

President Tsuneharu Sato, who took office on the 2st of this month, gave a greeting and said, "Today is the start day for everyone at Toyota, and I am very happy that this ceremony is my first job as president, and that I am very happy to be able to celebrate this important milestone day with all of you."

He then encouraged the new employees, saying, "From now on, we will aim to transform into a mobility company that delivers the value of transportation through cars to the world, and the key to this transformation is the vitality and innovation born from diverse values.

After this, two representatives of the new employees took the stage, and Ms. Nika Nakauchi, who joined the company as an engineer, expressed her determination, saying, "As the spread of EVs = electric vehicles accelerates, we would like to build a comfortable after-sales service system so that customers can ride their cars for as long as one day."

The new employees will start training on the 1rd and will be assigned to their respective workplaces by the end of this month.
