As an important innovation subject in the advanced manufacturing cluster, China's manufacturing single champion enterprises have accelerated the cultivation in recent years. At present, 7 batches of 1186 manufacturing single champion enterprises have been cultivated and selected. From the perspective of innovation ability, the average R&D intensity of the first 7 batches of manufacturing individual champions is 5.74%, and it is improving year by year. Among them, the average R&D investment intensity level of the seventh batch of individual champion enterprises is as high as 6.4%, which is much higher than the level of 1.35% of enterprises above designated size in China. From the perspective of efficiency level, the average operating income growth rate of the single champion in the past three years reached 21.9%, and the sales profit margin reached 11.1%, which was much higher than the average level of the manufacturing industry.
