Haikou, March 3 (Reporter Zhang Xiyi) On the afternoon of March 28, Hainan and 28 central enterprises including China COSCO Shipping Group Co., Ltd., China Huadian Group Co., Ltd. and CRRC Group Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Haikou, which will carry out diversified and in-depth cooperation in the fields of intelligent transportation, new energy, headquarters economy and comprehensive development of cities and parks to help the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port.
By the end of 2022, there were 696 central enterprises in Qiongqiong. At present, more than 50 central enterprises have established strategic cooperative relations with Hainan, becoming the core force of Hainan's development of headquarters economy.
In the afternoon of the same day, a symposium on deepening cooperation between the central government and the local government with the theme of "building a new development pattern of services and accelerating the construction of a free trade port with Chinese characteristics" was held. The symposium introduced Hainan's economic and social development and the construction of the free trade port, and introduced the policy of the Hainan free trade port. Heads of five central enterprises, including CNOOC, Datang Group, China Telecom, COSCO SHIPPING and China Tourism Group, spoke on the theme of deepening international operation based in Hainan and put forward opinions and suggestions.
Feng Fei, Secretary of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee, said that accelerating the construction of a free trade port with Chinese characteristics with world influence especially requires the full support of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and major central enterprises.
