This was announced by the Russian Ambassador to the Republic of congo Georgy Chepik.

"It is assumed that this agreement will be signed before the Russia-Africa summit and, probably, a joint venture will be created that will already deal with practical issues," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Chepik noted that the pipeline will be built between the African cities of Pointe-Noire and Brazzaville.

On March 13, State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin said that 37 African countries would take part in the Russia-Africa conference.

As stated by the Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Oleg Ozerov, delegations from the United States, Canada and the EU on the eve of the second Russia-Africa summit "besiege" African leaders with a demand to almost stop cooperation with Russia.
