A shooting in the middle of Tel Aviv, in one of the city's most popular streets, Dizengoff Street.

A man opened fire with a handgun on young people seated at a café terrace.

Two police officers who were not on duty immediately shoot the author of the attack.

This is Moattaz Hawaja, 23, from Naalin in the Ramallah region of the West Bank.

For the police, there is no doubt, it is indeed an act of terrorism.

The author of the attack would have acted alone.

But despite everything, the sector has been scrutinized by the security forces.

The Israeli Prime Minister who is in Rome speaks of a very serious attack.

“

This will not weaken,

proclaims Benyamin Netanyahu,

our determination to plant roots in our homeland.

It should also be noted that Tel Aviv Police Chief Ami Eshed, who is leading the operation, was removed from his post by National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir just an hour before the attack.

And also the reaction of Hamas: the attack is the Palestinian response to Israeli raids in the Jenin region, which left nine dead in less than 48 hours, he said.
