The company's press release notes that in the current foreign policy context, Gasunie does not predict the resumption of gas pipeline deliveries in the foreseeable future and does not expect new dividends.

“Therefore, the value of Gasunie’s stake in Nord Stream has fallen to zero euros at the end of 2022,” the report says.

In February, the German oil and gas company Wintershall Dea completely wrote off its 15.5% stake in the Nord Stream operator after the gas pipeline was damaged.

The bankruptcy procedure for the operator of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, Nord Stream 2 AG, has been extended until July 2023.
