In recent years, the county has arranged special funds to support the edible fungus industry, and has taken the research and development of fungi as a leading project for agricultural modernization to develop the drinking, edible, and medicinal values ​​of edible fungi.

  It is reported that Yuan'an is currently developing from a single shiitake mushroom species to morel, Phellinus and other rare bacteria. It has planted nearly 200 mu of rare bacteria and built 18 standardized bases. The county currently has 15 edible fungus enterprises, 84 professional cooperatives, There are 20 family farms, and 8,500 households are engaged in the cultivation of edible fungi. The per capita annual income of mushroom farmers has increased by more than 8,000 yuan.
