"Our latest forecasts indicate that oil demand will increase by 2.3 million barrels per day," al-Ghais quoted RIA Novosti as saying.
According to him, most of these 2.3 million barrels will come from Asian countries, including China and India.
Al-Ghais also said that oil in the future will retain the role of a critical component in the energy market.
