Germany took note of the data on the involvement of a pro-Ukrainian group in the emergency at Nord Stream

“The federal government has taken note of the recent New York Times report,” a spokesman for the German cabinet said.

Also in Berlin, they said that the German prosecutor's office has been investigating the case of sabotage since the beginning of October 2022.

On March 7, The New York Times published an article stating that “new intelligence” indicates the involvement of a certain “pro-Ukrainian group” in undermining the Nord Stream in the Baltic Sea.

American journalist Seymour Hersh previously published an investigation into US involvement in the Nord Stream incident.

The Hersh investigation alleges that Nord Stream mined U.S. divers who were operating under the cover of the BALTOPS 22 exercise in June 2022.
