  Shu Jueting said at the regular press conference held by the Ministry of Commerce on the same day that in recent years, the comprehensive test area, as an innovation highland for the development of cross-border e-commerce, has effectively helped foreign trade to stabilize its scale and optimize its structure, and has strongly promoted the innovative development of business formats. It has the characteristics of high proportion of scale, continuous optimization of main body quality, and increasingly complete industrial supporting facilities.

  According to customs data, in 2022, my country's cross-border e-commerce import and export volume will reach 2.11 trillion yuan, an increase of 9.8%, of which the import and export volume of each comprehensive test area accounts for more than 90%. There are about 200,000 enterprises, of which more than 9,300 are recognized as high-tech enterprises; the comprehensive test areas are actively building cross-border e-commerce industrial parks, enriching various supporting facilities, and a number of professionals in payment, logistics, marketing and other links have emerged service provider.
