This, according to RIA Novosti, Belousov said during his speech at the final meeting of the board of Russian Railways for 2022.

“In April-December 2022, the physical volume of trade with the European Union fell by a third,” said the First Deputy Prime Minister.

At the same time, over the same period, an almost twofold increase in trade with Turkey, Egypt and the countries of the Persian Gulf was recorded.

As for the countries of Southeast Asia and China, trade volumes increased by more than 17%, Belousov added.

Earlier it became known that the trade turnover between Russia and China in 2022 increased by 29.3%, to $190.27 billion, which was a record figure for the two countries of all time.
