“Submit to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly ... a draft federal law “On the ratification of the agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the government of the People’s Republic of China on cooperation in the field of natural gas supplies from the Russian Federation to the People’s Republic of China via the Far Eastern route,” the document says.

On January 30, the Russian government approved and preliminary worked out with the PRC a draft agreement on gas supplies via the Far East route.

On January 16, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announced that the volume of gas supplies through the Power of Siberia pipeline reached record levels in 2022.
