Gazprom recalled that in January the company signed bilateral roadmaps for cooperation in the gas industry with the government of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan.

The Vice Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of Uzbekistan, Alisher Kadyrov, earlier announced the development of a multilateral gas agreement with Russia.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak noted that Moscow is discussing an increase in gas supplies for the domestic markets of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

At the same time, he noted that China is the main consumer of pipeline gas from Russia.
