AGC, a major material maker, has begun considering selling its local business and withdrawing from it, saying that the future of the business is uncertain due to the prolonged military invasion by Russia.

AGC has two plants in Russia that produce glass for construction and automotive applications, but operations have been suspended since October last year following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
