Specifically, at the landscape node of "Fragrant Grass Seeking Cranes", the design and construction team protected the original wetland environment, added slope ponds and tree islands, and created a small environment for biological habitats.
At the landscape node of "cleaning the canal like Xu", the design and construction team built the "muck mountain" into a mountain landscape, and set up a reclaimed water filtration system on the mountain to guide the city's reclaimed water from the peak to be purified layer by layer, and finally flow into the West Lake after reaching the standard Wetlands create a landscape effect of well-organized and layered mountains.

At the "floating light and moon" landscape node, the design and construction team opened up the dry and dry Qinhe River to make it look like it used to be.
At the landscape node of "Picture Scroll of Green Mountains", the design and construction team adheres to the concept of "cultural inheritance". On the basis of retaining industrial relics, the "scattered and polluted" enterprise gathering places are refilled with muck and soil, drained and stored, and built into a Industrial Heritage Park and Sunken Mine Garden.
Through ecological renovation and restoration, and overall landscape creation, Handan Garden Expo Park not only solved the problem of "dirty and messy" ecological environment in some areas, but also improved the ecological environment of the Garden Expo Park by diverting water to create lakes and planting grass and covering it with greenery. Waterfowl stop and settle in the Garden Expo Garden.
The Handan Garden Expo Park has been completely covered by water systems, green spaces and garden landscapes, forming an ecological picture of the city and garden.
At the same time, the surrounding environment and villages have also changed.
Next to the south entrance of Handan Garden Expo Park, a special steel foundry that had been shut down many years ago has become the "1957 Art and Creative Park".
On the basis of protecting and displaying the original appearance of the steel mill, the park has been built into a comprehensive park of steel culture + research base + leisure tourism.

Jiangou Village and Qi Village, which are adjacent to the Garden Expo Park, provide some supporting functions for the Garden Expo Park on the basis of retaining the original villages.
Focusing on the development of rural tourism, Jiangou Village has created special scenic spots such as "China's No. 1 Well" and Jiangou Water Street.
Qi village has carried out overall protection and restoration of traditional buildings such as the main street, stage, old temple, and folk houses, improved the living environment, beautified the appearance of the village, and planned projects such as "Agriculture Disney" around the village.
In the past, many people moved to the city because of the poor environment in the village.
Now that the environment has improved, many villagers have moved back.
Today's Handan Garden Expo Park covers a total area of about 283 hectares, with a water system area of about 60 hectares, a green area of about 220 hectares, and a total construction area of about 55,000 square meters, driving more than 1,000 people in the surrounding villagers to employment.
During the 7-day National Day holiday in 2020, Handan Garden Expo Park attracted 200,000 tourists; in 2021, Handan Garden Expo Park attracted about 1 million tourists throughout the year, creating an economic benefit of about 150 million yuan for the tourism industry.
The restoration of the ecological environment has transformed Handan Garden Expo Park from an "industrial rust belt" into a "scenic belt", realizing the unity of ecological, economic and social benefits.
