On February 1, train T3295 departing from Lanzhou and carrying 956 migrant workers arrived at Urumqi Station. This is the first special train for migrant workers in Xinjiang this spring, marking the beginning of the tide of migrant workers in Xinjiang.

The peak flow of migrant workers into Xinjiang is expected to last until mid-March.

After the Spring Festival, as a large number of migrant workers entered Xinjiang, the Xinjiang Railway ushered in the peak passenger flow of the "post-Spring Festival".

For Gansu, Shaanxi, Henan and other provinces with large migrant workers entering Xinjiang, the railway department has successively added migrant trains. Up to now, 30 temporary trains for migrant workers entering Xinjiang have been confirmed to run in the three directions of Lanzhou, Xi'an, and Zhengzhou to Urumqi. At the same time, 30 passenger trains will be operated for the return passenger flow out of Xinjiang in these three directions.

In view of the relatively concentrated passenger flow of migrant workers arriving at Urumqi Station, personnel were promptly deployed to assist and guide key parts such as the platform and exit passages. During peak periods of passenger flow, safety promotion and boarding and landing organization were strengthened to guide the flow of migrant workers to leave the station quickly. The platform guides transit passengers directly into the waiting area, which is convenient for passengers to transfer to the north and south without leaving the station.
