Toyota Motor's labor union has established a request policy for this year's spring labor offensive, demanding 6.7 months of monthly wages for bonuses, as well as demanding wage increases for factory fixed-term employees and part-time workers.

As prices continue to rise to record levels, we would like to raise the wages of all employees, including non-regular workers.

Toyota Motor's labor union held an executive committee on the 30th with the attendance of executives to solidify the request policy for this year's spring labor offensive.

According to sources, the company will demand a bonus of 6.7 months' salary, which is lower than the 6.9 months' salary agreed last year.

In addition, regarding the wages of fixed-term employees and part-time employees on the factory production line, it says, "We will demand wages that take into account the raising of standards."

On the other hand, regarding the wages of regular employees, we will indicate 15 patterns of wage increase requests "by job type" and "by rank", and we will focus on requesting increases for young employees in particular.

Furthermore, in order to raise the starting salary, it is also a policy to demand an increase in the "internal minimum wage."

As the labor union of Toyota wants to raise the wages of all employees, including non-regular workers, as the price of goods continues to rise at a record high, after making a formal decision on the content of the request, management will make a decision on the 15th of next month.
