“Of course, Moscow and Islamabad have a mutual desire to increase bilateral cooperation, primarily in the energy sector, in other sectors of the economy,” TASS quoted Lavrov as saying during negotiations with Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Earlier it was reported that Moscow and Islamabad reached conceptual agreements on the supply of oil and petroleum products to Pakistan.

Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov said that Russia could take part in Pakistan's electricity projects.
