  According to data from the State Council's joint defense and joint control mechanism for Spring Festival travel work, on January 27 (the 21st day of Spring Festival travel, the sixth day of the first month of the lunar calendar), the national railways, highways, waterways, and civil aviation sent a total of 50.92 million passengers, a month-on-month increase of 16.9%, compared with 2019. A year-on-year decrease of 46.7%, an increase of 83.1% over the same period in 2022.

Among them: 12.185 million passengers were sent by national railways, 36.28 million by roads, 735,000 by waterways, and 1.72 million by civil aviation.

  In addition, according to the monitoring and summary data of the Office of the State Council’s Logistics Guarantee Work Leading Group, on January 27, the national freight logistics operated in an orderly manner. There were 1,976,500 freight vehicles on expressways, an increase of 23.7% from the previous month; 14,467 civil aviation flights were guaranteed (including 221 cargo flights, including 188 international cargo flights and 33 domestic cargo flights), an increase of 3.9% from the previous month; 136 million pieces, a month-on-month increase of 61.9%; the delivery volume was about 74 million pieces, a month-on-month increase of 29.8%.
