Musadik Malik, Minister of State for Petroleum of Pakistan, announced this.

“In March, all commercial terms of the agreement with Russia will be agreed upon, after which Russian cheap crude oil will begin to flow into Pakistan in April,” News International quoted him as saying.

Malik stressed that the supply of oil, liquefied natural gas, pipeline gas and other fuels from Russia would improve Pakistan's energy security.

Earlier it was reported that Moscow and Islamabad reached conceptual agreements on the supply of oil and petroleum products to Pakistan.

Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov said that Russia could take part in Pakistan's electricity projects.
