"Sharjah Cooperative" launches the "UAE Farmers" Forum

Today, the Sharjah Cooperative launched the Emirates Farmers Forum, which it is organizing for the third time in a row and will continue until the 29th of this month, at the cooperative headquarters of the Rahmaniyah Commercial Center, with the participation of national farm owners, with the aim of developing the national production system and marketing local farm products.

The cooperative reported that the forum was attended by more than 50 senior citizens who own national farms, representatives from the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, representatives from the Department of Economic Development, representatives from the Department of Agriculture and Livestock, representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, and Sharjah Asset Management.

In turn, the CEO of the Sharjah Cooperative, Majid Salem Al Junaid, said, "The forum aims to encourage reliance on local resources, and to emphasize the cooperative's support for local farms by focusing on marketing their products in the branches and giving them priority in selling, marketing and facilities in terms of farm registration procedures and the supply mechanism." ".

He stated that "the forum supports local farmers and sheds light on their efforts and helps them display their agricultural crops and contribute to selling and marketing them through the branches of the cooperative." .
