Arié Dery, Israeli Minister of the Interior and Health, was dismissed from his post by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

Last Wednesday, the highest legal body in the country invalidated his appointment to these two ministerial posts.

A new crisis for the most right-wing government in the history of Israel.

The Supreme Court had demanded it.

And Binyamin Netanyahu had to, in the end, run.

He dismissed Arié Dery from his ministerial functions, but with velvet gloves.

It's an unfortunate decision that ignores the will of the people, he says.

And he adds that he will do everything by legal means to find a way to allow Dery to continue to provide his services to the country.

Leader of Shas, the ultra-Orthodox Sephardic party, Health and Interior Minister Arié Dery has been convicted three times of embezzlement and last year agreed to resign from public office as part of a a guilty plea.

He could get an observer position in the government.

But that's not the only problem for Netanyahu.

Ministers from the right wing of his government boycotted the meeting of the said government.

They intend to protest in this way against the dismantling of an outpost established in the north of the West Bank without the green light from the Israeli authorities.
