Bloomberg: Germany faces dependence on LNG due to the refusal of Russian gas

In addition to LNG and gas from Norway and the Netherlands, coal has become another salvation for Germany after the refusal of Russian gas, the agency adds.

Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Germany managed to overcome its dependence on Russian energy resources.

At the same time, the Director General of the European Commission for Energy, Ditte Jules Jorgensen, in an interview with The Washington Post, stated that the European Union is unable to acquire independence from Russian fuel supplies until it manages to reduce its own energy consumption.
