China-Singapore Jingwei, January 21 (Niu Chaoge) "Driving back home during the Spring Festival, I thought it would be more convenient to visit relatives, but charging became a problem." New energy car owner Wang Shun complained.

The Spring Festival of the Year of the Rabbit is approaching, and many new energy car owners choose to drive back to their hometowns, but they encounter troubles when charging at home.

Some people lined up in the high-speed service area to wait for charging, some people plugged in the battery to charge their cars in the yard, and some people looked around for charging piles, only to find that the charging parking spaces were full of fuel vehicles...

Why is it so difficult to go back to the village to charge?

!

During the Spring Festival this year, Zhang Jie returned to Jiangxi from Shenzhen in a newly replaced new energy vehicle.

He told Sino-Singapore Jingwei that

it only took 8 hours to drive a fuel car in previous years, but this year it took 15 hours.

"The current navigation is very convenient, and there are indeed charging piles in the high-speed service areas, but

almost every service area has to line up for charging. I charged a total of 3 times on the way home, and I had to wait for about 2 hours each time. It takes another hour to charge.

" Zhang Jie said.

The difficulty of charging is not only reflected on the road, but many new energy car owners only start to face the "charging problem" after returning to their hometown.

Whenever he returns to Xinping County, Yunnan Province, Wang Wen, the owner of the new energy car, will skillfully connect the roots and sockets to the yard to charge the car.

"Charging in the city is quite convenient, but in the county there are only special charging piles at the gate of the power grid company, which is not very convenient to use, so after returning to the county, I use a power strip to charge at home." Wang Wen told Sino-Singapore Jingwei .

Wang Wen said that because the plug of the car charger is 16W, the general socket cannot be plugged in. In order to charge smoothly, she also specially connected a wire from the living room to the yard to facilitate the installation of a special socket.

"It takes 7 hours to fully charge in the yard."

Wang Shun, who drove back to Karamay from Urumqi, Xinjiang, encountered another situation. There are public charging piles near his home, but the charging parking spaces are full of fuel vehicles.

"Because I only go back to Karamay during the holidays, I didn't install home charging piles. I wanted to use public charging piles to charge, but I didn't expect that the charging parking spaces were full of fuel vehicles. Everyone used the charging parking spaces as ordinary parking spaces." Wang Shun said. .

Sino-Singapore Jingwei saw at a public charging pile in Karamay that the

charging parking space was almost full of fuel vehicles, and the only new energy vehicle among them was not being charged.

And there is a sign next to the charging pile, which says "Non-charging vehicles are not allowed to park in the reserved parking space of the new energy charging pile".

"Before the Spring Festival, the battery needs to be recharged almost every two days. There is still an approximate time to wait in line for charging, and it is pure luck to wait for these fuel vehicles to drive away. Recharging the car once has made it a parking space grab!"

Wang Shun complained .

.

How to solve the problem?

According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the production and sales of new energy vehicles in 2022 will be 7.058 million and 6.887 million, respectively, an increase of 96.9% and 93.4% year-on-year; the sales of new energy vehicles will reach 25.6% of the total sales of new vehicles.

It can be said that new energy vehicles are gradually "driving" into thousands of households, but some experts pointed out that there are problems such as insufficient inventory and uneven distribution of charging facilities for new energy vehicles.

"The more developed Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the Pearl River Delta region have a large number of charging facilities, while the western region has relatively few charging facilities." Zhang Xiang, dean of the New Energy Vehicle Technology Research Institute of Jiangxi New Energy Technology Vocational College, told Sino-Singapore latitude and longitude.

Car owners complain that there are too few charging facilities, why don't manufacturers and operators lay more charging equipment?

Zhang Hong, secretary-general of the New Energy Vehicle Branch of the China Automobile Dealers Association, said that currently, there is a conflict between the laying of charging facilities and the actual utilization rate, that is, although manufacturers and operators are willing to popularize charging facilities, they are worried that the utilization rate in some scenarios is too low , It will lead to deficit operation, so consumers complain that there are too few charging facilities, and manufacturers and operators dare not rashly lay charging facilities.

"Like the charging facilities in expressway service areas, the peak period is holidays, but the usual utilization rate is not high, which is prone to losses." Zhang Xiang said.

In this regard, Zhang Hong believes that charging facility operators can formulate differentiated charging standards based on service costs.

"Most of the current charging facility operators make profits by charging electricity fees, but the services provided by the operators are not recognized, while charging facilities have their own market value, and the construction costs of charging facilities vary due to factors such as location. But the current charging standards do not reflect these differences." Zhang Hong said.

"These are obstacles that must be overcome on the road to the development of new energy vehicles." Zhang Hong said, he suggested that charging facility operators may cooperate with gas stations, highway rest areas and other places where car owners gather to optimize the layout of charging facilities.

Tian Yulong, chief engineer and spokesperson of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said at a press conference on the development of industry and information technology in 2022 that by the end of 2022, a total of 5.21 million charging piles and 1,973 battery swapping stations had been built nationwide, of which new charging piles will be added in 2022. 2.593 million, and 675 power stations.

Zhang Hong reminded that it is the Spring Festival, and new energy car owners must plan their routes when driving back to their hometowns, choose a road with charging facilities to go home, and at the same time calculate the distance between adjacent charging facilities to avoid half-way "squatting". ", but also to confirm whether there are charging facilities in the hometown and whether the charging can be guaranteed, and then choose to drive a new energy vehicle to return to the hometown when the conditions are ripe.
