Al Olama added, during a session in which he spoke within the agenda of the country's participation in the meetings of the World Economic Forum in Davos, which concluded its work yesterday, that the UAE has managed to consolidate its regional position as a leading trade and development center in the region, to become today a global center supporting comprehensive development, through infrastructure Developed development initiatives, policies and strategies that depend mainly on technology, the use of artificial intelligence, and the digital economy.

Al Olama stressed that the UAE's investment in emerging technological sectors plays an important role in supporting the country's economic growth by stimulating innovation and enhancing the business environment, pointing out that the UAE has growing opportunities to continue consolidating the growth of the technology sector in the coming years.

The scholars added that commercial prosperity and an environment open to the region constituted a component and a basis for resuming this role, formulating it according to contemporary requirements, anticipating future needs and opportunities, and resuming the pivotal role of the Emirates as a prosperous trade center for more than 4,000 years, which managed to build distinguished relations in the region, where The UAE has adapted to various economic factors, conditions and circumstances, over the ages, to maintain its position as a reliable center for business and commercial activities.

He pointed out that the UAE is characterized by an advanced infrastructure, supported by a network of the most modern airports, roads and ports, linking it with the rest of the world and the most important markets and global trade centers, which made it a unique global trade center, in addition to accommodating a number of world-class universities and research centers in the fields of science and technology. Advanced technology, artificial intelligence, digital learning, and many academic fields that support the achievement of strategic goals related to strengthening the digital economy system in the country by empowering generations of qualified leaders and innovators.

He also referred to the important role played by the system of legislation and supportive policies to encourage economic growth and development, as the government has implemented a number of initiatives to promote entrepreneurship, innovation and attract investments in emerging sectors, technology and the digital economy.
