“According to the Bank of Russia, the external debt of the Russian Federation as of January 1, 2023 amounted to $381.8 billion, having decreased by $100.4 billion, or 20.8%, since the beginning of the year,” the regulator said in a statement.

It is noted that the dynamics of the indicator is largely due to a decrease in "external debt of other sectors on loans."

Earlier, the Central Bank called the volume of Russia's international reserves.
