As a result of analyzing the characteristics of traffic accidents from 2018 to 2022 by Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance's Transportation Climate Environment Research Institute, the number of drowsy driving accidents during the Lunar New Year holiday period increased by 28% to an average of 13.3 cases per day.



By time of day, 42.8% of drowsy driving accidents occurred between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm, showing a tendency to be concentrated during the daytime.
