"The execution of federal budget expenditures for the implementation of national projects - as of January 1, 2023 - amounted to 3.269 trillion rubles, or 98.7% of the planned budget allocations," the Russian Ministry of Finance said in a statement.

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the expenditures of the Russian federal budget in 2022 amounted to more than 31 trillion rubles, revenues - almost 28 trillion rubles.

Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that the Russian budget deficit in 2022 amounted to 2.3% of GDP.

Russian President Vladimir Putin called the task for this year to maintain a positive trend in the development of the economy.
