The agency writes that China has increased diesel exports in recent months, part of which is sent to European countries.

According to experts, exports of diesel fuel from China could range from 400,000 to 600,000 barrels per day during the first half of 2023.

The analytical company Vortexa claims that last year the European Union bought 220 million barrels of Russian diesel.

Earlier, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva expressed the opinion that European countries will face a harsh winter without Russian fuel.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that EU sanctions would lead to a shortage of gas in Europe.
