  According to reports, 33 buyers from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam were invited to conduct online matchmaking negotiations with 36 agricultural products and agricultural machinery companies in Chongqing.

The procurement involves lemons, citrus, tea, grapefruit, agricultural machinery and other categories.

  After docking and negotiation, Thailand Jutong Machinery Development Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Zhanxiong Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Indonesia Citrus Department Store and Chongqing Huida Lemon Technology Group signed a purchase intention agreement.

Thailand-Russia Fruit Company plans to purchase a trial order of 2 containers of fresh fruit lemon products from Chongqing.

The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers is considering going to Chongqing or inviting Chongqing enterprises to go to Malaysia to further discuss agricultural machinery cooperation.

The Indonesian Agricultural Development Platform plans to set up a Chinese agricultural machinery center in Indonesia to facilitate trade.

  Li Zhensheng, chief operating officer of the Malaysian Global Technology Innovation Platform, a participating company, said in an interview with a reporter from China News Agency that Malaysia is one of the major agricultural countries in Southeast Asia, and China has mature and advanced technological support in terms of agricultural product planting and industrial chain.

He believes that intelligent agriculture will be one of the directions in which Malaysian agricultural enterprises can focus on cooperation, exchange and learning with Chongqing agricultural enterprises.

  At the beginning of the new year, Chongqing launched the "Hundred Regiments and Thousand Enterprises" international market development campaign to help companies participate in exhibitions and conferences, business matching, and visits to new and old customers, and the first stop will be ASEAN countries.

  A business delegation led by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce and composed of 23 Chongqing enterprises is currently carrying out an 8-day trip to ASEAN countries. The visiting enterprises cover various fields of Chongqing's characteristic and advantageous products.

On the 10th, at the "China (Chongqing)-Malaysia Enterprise Economic and Trade Matchmaking Conference" held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a number of cooperation agreements were signed on the spot, with a total amount of more than 16 million US dollars.

  It is understood that ASEAN has been Chongqing's largest trading partner for many years.

In addition to trade, Chongqing has also continuously strengthened cooperation with ASEAN countries in the fields of education, culture, and social life.
