LG U+ said in a notice on its homepage, "We are aware that some customers' personal information has been leaked," and "Please be aware that valuable information may be used inappropriately."



The leaked information includes name, date of birth, and phone number, and although it differs from person to person, financial information was not leaked.



On the 2nd, I was aware of the information leak, and the next day, I requested an investigation to the police and Korea Internet & Security Agency.



As for the reason for disclosing it more than a week after the leak was recognized, he explained, "It took time to confirm unclear data and identify customers."



In fact, it is said that earlier this year, an article about selling LG U+ user information was posted on a hacking-related site.



LG U+ notifies the individuals whose information was leaked, and you can also check whether or not the information was leaked on the homepage.
