The Genesis BBQ Group announced that it would present a voucher for free BBQ chicken for one year to Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Campana, who helped Korean tourists stranded in the snow in New York, USA.
On December 23 last year, the couple invited 10 people, including Korean tourists and bus drivers, who were isolated in Williamsville, New York due to snow storms and heavy snow, to their home and provided food.
Korean tourists are known to have cooked several Korean dishes, such as stir-fried pork and stir-fried chicken, to thank the couple for their help at the time.
The Campana couple said, "I made unforgettable year-end memories with new friends from Korea," and "I want to visit Korea and experience Korean culture and food."
BBQ explained that it decided to provide chicken gift certificates with gratitude and respect for the good deeds of the Campana couple.
