Wanda Group maintains employment and adds 201,000 new jobs throughout the year

　　On January 3, Wanda Group announced the new employment data for 2022.

A total of 201,000 new jobs were created in the service industry throughout the year, including more than 102,000 college students, exceeding Wanda's annual employment target.

　　Wanda Plaza is a reservoir and stabilizer of employment. The opening of a plaza can provide more than 4,000 service industry jobs, ensuring stable employment will be created when the plaza opens.

At the beginning of 2022, Wanda Group formulated a full-year plan to open 55 new Wanda Plazas, ensuring 200,000 new jobs in the service industry, including 100,000 college students.

However, the continuous COVID-19 epidemic has seriously affected the business operations of the company. Wanda Group faced it bravely, overcame various difficulties, and completed the company's annual opening plan with perseverance. Throughout the year, 55 Wanda Plazas, 27 Wanda Hotels, and 105 Wanda Cinemas were newly opened. Wanda City, 61 Baby King Paradise, overfulfilled the annual target of new employment, so Wanda Group became the only large-scale service enterprise in the country that fully completed the annual opening target.

　　In order to alleviate the employment pressure in society, Wanda Group has joined forces with local governments, employers and talent recruitment agencies to build Wanda Plaza into an "employment center".

Established 115 normalized "Wanda Plaza Talent Recruitment Markets" across the country, held 385 large-scale public welfare recruitment activities throughout the year, linked 35,000 employers, provided 361,000 jobs, and achieved employment intentions for 84,000 people.

For the employment of college students, Wanda has also built 1,038 "college students' employment and practice bases", of which 344 employment bases have been officially certified by local governments, providing internship and internship positions for more than 50,000 college students throughout the year.

By the end of 2022, Wanda has opened a total of 473 Wanda Plazas, 120 Wanda Hotels, 825 Wanda Cinemas, and 385 Baby King Paradise across the country, creating a total of 1.916 million stable service jobs, including 895,000 college students.
