Iranian actress Taraneh Alidoosti, 38, an internationally recognized artist, was released on bail on Wednesday January 4, three weeks after being arrested for supporting protests in Iran.

After three weeks in detention, Taraneh Alidoosti was released on Wednesday on payment of bail, the amount of which has not been revealed.
