It is reported by TASS.

It is noted that the project was developed in order to implement the list of instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the development of alternative environmentally friendly energy sources.

According to Kutepov, the current legislation regulates the procedure for the supply and use of “exclusively natural gas” for the purpose of supplying the population and industrial enterprises with gas, while the procedure for using alternative types of gas is not defined by law.

“In hard-to-reach areas, subjects of Russia, on whose territory there are no gas distribution networks or these networks are not developed, gasification using natural gas is not economically feasible,” the report says.

The use of alternative energy sources should solve this problem and significantly save the federal and local budgets.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that Russians had submitted almost 1 million applications for social gasification of households.

It was also reported that the Government of Russia made the program of social gasification indefinite.
