Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank announced the launch of ADIB PAY, the region's first electronic payment service of its kind, in cooperation with Tabby, a financial technology and tokenization service provider, and Visa payment card company.

The service allows holders of "Visa" cards from Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank to make contactless payments, using rings, accessories on bracelets, or watches, without the need to carry an actual plastic card, through the "ADIB PAY" contactless payment device, in many From a wrist wearable device, watch, or ring, and turn it into a smart payment device.

The bank confirmed that the “ADIB PAY” device will be provided initially to a selected group of customers.

Abu Dhabi Islamic stated that customers can link ADIB PAY to a Visa card issued by the bank via Bluetooth, and then the card is automatically linked to the chip embedded in the payment machine.

Once the installation process is complete, the customer is ready to make quick and easy payments with a single click from the "payment bracelet" or "ring", and will be able to view his transaction history on the "ADIB PAY" application.
