From New Year's Eve on the 31st to New Year's Day on the 1st, JR East and some private railways in the Tokyo metropolitan area will operate all night.
▼JR East has 7 lines in the Tokyo metropolitan area, such as between Omiya Station on the Yamanote Line and ▽Keihin Tohoku Line and Sakuragicho Station on the Negishi Line, and ▽between Mitaka Station and Chiba Station on the Chuo/Sobu Line. The train will run all night from New Year's Eve to New Year's Day.
Major private railways in the Tokyo metropolitan area are:
▼ Keio Electric Railway ▽ Keio Line between Shinjuku Station and Takaosanguchi Station and ▽ Keio New Line will carry out all-night operation
. All-night operation will be carried out between Narita Station and on the ▽ Oshiage Line and ▽ Kanamachi Line.
Extra train services are also planned.
▼Tokyu Corporation operates two special trains that depart from Shibuya Station around 1:00 AM on New Year's Day, and
▼Odakyu Electric Railway operates trains that depart Shinjuku Station and Machida Station around 4:00 AM. A total of four trains will be operated temporarily, and there will also be trains that will partially extend the operating section.
